Foodie Friday: Pumpkin Bread.

Ok, so I know that pumpkin is typically associated with fall and winter…those cozy, crisp evenings we all look forward to after a long summer. However, I have been craving this delish bread for the last few weeks and FINALLY gave in and made it….I do not regret it. Not for a SECOND. :) This recipe comes from my Mom and I have an original copy that she typed out on our very first word processor computer. (Wowza, do I sound old or what?! :)) It is a special one to me because I remember her making it so often for us…the smell of the spices coming together and then the way the house smells while it’s baking. Plus, that crust that it has when coming out of the oven, dense but tender center, oh my, it’s so tasty. Mmmmm! Love you, Momma! Thanks for sharing this one with me, I think of you each time I make and enjoy it! xo
