Foodie Friday: Banana Cake with Penuche Frosting.
Happy Friday, all! I know what you’re thinking, “WHAT on earth is Penuche frosting?!” (I was too, not to worry!) After reading a bit, I learned that it is popular in Hawaii and New England, is a type of cane sugar, and a kind of candy, similar to fudge. Bottom line, it’s AMAZINGLY delish and totally worth your time to create. The cake is light and fluffy, making for a magical combination. Perhaps the perfect addition to your Easter feast this weekend?! :)
