Derek & Joy | A Fall Woodland Engagement Session.
Technically, this session is 29 years in the making. Those years ago, Joy’s parent’s selected this very place (the lovely Pequea Creek Campground!) for their engagement pictures. Not only is the scenery lovely, but meaningful as well, and as we all know, add such meaningfulness to anything and I am on cloud nine. :) The environment, no matter how lovely, did not come close to overshadowing the glowing couple I ventured there with. Derek, a fun, witty, and dashing Engineer treasures and appreciates his bride-to-be, and it shows. Joy, a soon-to-be RN, is an incredible natural beauty that emanates sweet peacefulness, and is oh, so quick with that gorgeous smile. Plus, her stunning hair would stop anyone (including me!) in their tracks. (Jealous much, ladies?! :)) Together, these childhood friends go beyond “power couple”. They are thoughtful, genuine, and have a fierce love for the Lord and their faith in Him. Not even married yet, they provide a positive and powerful example to those around them. Joy and Derek, I feel so honored to be working with you, and am beyond thrilled to witness your celebration in March! It can’t be here soon enough! xoxo
These two photos below are perhaps some of my all-time favorites. We were able to recreate a photo from Joy’s parent’s session!! While the scenery is slightly different, it was SUCH a fun twist to our time together!
xo,
Mary
